Affinity Water
At Affinity, our people make us who we are. For us, being part of a community is everything. After all we supply around 950 million litres of water to more than 3.6 million people every single day, 365 days a year.
At Affinity Water we provide high quality drinking water while taking care of the environment, for the benefit of local communities.
The work we do matters to people’s lives, with over 3.6 million customers using our water every day. Making that happen means a lot of people playing their part – whether they’re treating and producing water, maintaining our network, visiting our customers, or doing the important work of supporting our frontline teams.
When you join Affinity, you’ll be joining something special. We don’t just supply our customers with high quality drinking water, we care about where that water comes from. We care about our environment for our communities now and in the future.
At Affinity, the health and wellbeing of our team means everything. We want everyone to feel healthy, empowered and resilient, to enjoy their time at work and at home.
Our Wellbeing Committee is dedicated to putting our people’s wellbeing first and there is an established programme in place to support our teams.
We celebrate the diversity of our people . . .
We are committed to creating a more inclusive culture at Affinity. After all, we are all unique and that’s what makes Affinity a special place to work.
We aim to achieve equality, diversity and inclusion in all that we do, so everyone feels comfortable to bring their true selves to work.
Our active EDI Committee organises regular company-wide events, so everyone has the chance to get involved.
Over the past year, the team have run a variety of company-wide webinars, including International Women’s Day, Diverse Minds Matter, Celebrating Pride, Black Voices Matter and International Men’s Day. These popular events provide an opportunity for our people to share, listen to others and discuss their experiences in a safe environment.
“Affinity is really committed to taking care of our wellbeing and supporting initiatives aimed at empowering its workforce. I champion neurodiversity here and the team really supports me in this. I organised a neurodiversity webinar earlier this year, and it was attended by over 80 people including several from senior management – I was impressed to find there was so much interest in the subject and an appetite for bringing neurodiversity to the forefront.”

We look after our environment . . .
Not many people know this, but the water we drink comes from the local environment, flowing through nearby rivers and streams.
Save Our Streams is the UK’s biggest ever water saving initiative, focused on saving our incredibly rare chalk streams, and the habitats they provide for local wildlife. And we’d love you to get on board.
As well as saving our streams, we’re all about saving our natural habitats and we have some amazing volunteering opportunities throughout the year so you can get involved. You’ll get four Affinity Days a year so you can really make a difference for our local communities.
“At Affinity Water, we have amazing opportunities to volunteer with wildlife conservation groups helping to manage habitats around our supply area. It gives everyone the chance to experience something outside of their day-to-day working life, learn something new and meet different people from around the company. Managing our sites for biodiversity is incredibly important to us and the groups that we work with rely on volunteers, which Affinity Water are happy to help with.”
