Process Technician
FCC Environment
Aneta began working at FCC Environment’s Allington energy from waste (EfW) plant in January 2009 and knew instantly that this was the role for her.
Having worked in the industry for the past 14 years, Aneta is well-versed in the world of waste management. Her career began as Picker Sorter at a materials recycling facility, and she has continued to climb the career ladder, with her managers recognising her potential and aptitude at each stage.
Aneta is now on secondment as a Process Technician, where, working as part of a team, it is her responsibility to ensure that the Allington EfW is running smoothly, performing well and colleagues are safe. “It is great to know that the work we do helps the performance of the plant and can make a real difference to this. In my role I think it is very important to be in tune with the plant, always looking and listening carefully, and more often that not you will find something that can be tweaked or improved.”
